Your Role

As our Upholstery Shop Manager, you'll be the bridge between our customers and our talented upholstery technicians. Your main responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with customers to establish design requirements and expectations.
Communicating job specifications to the team to ensure accurate execution.
Ordering and managing materials to meet project needs.
Ensuring timely completion of projects and coordinating pickup/delivery with customers.

You'll also play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and fostering a culture of quality and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented leader with a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for design.

Qualifications:

Leadership: 7+ years of management experience (preferably in a related industry).
Upholstery Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience or a strong portfolio in automotive, marine, or furniture upholstery.
Familiarity with a variety of tools (e.g., sewing machines, staple guns, hot knives) and materials (leather, vinyl, foam, etc.).
Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.
Formal training in upholstery or significant custom design experience is a big plus!

General Requirements:

Must be reliable, career-oriented, and self-motivated.
Comfortable working on a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime.
Physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting, and working with heavy components.
Drug-free with a clean criminal background (background check and drug test required).
